Mário Encarnado is a proud Alentejo native from Évora. Since 1998, he has been a teacher at the Alvito Professional School, where he teaches subjects such as Environment and Rural Development, Tourism - Management Techniques, and Reception and Animation Techniques. Additionally, he is the director of the Environmental and Rural Tourism Technician course and also coordinates the Employment and Higher Education Support Office. He holds a bachelor's degree in Tourism Strategy and Management and a degree in Tourism from the School of Technology and Management of Beja. He also completed a postgraduate degree in Pedagogical Supervision at the University of Évora. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to vocational education, helping to train future professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector. In addition to teaching, he works as a trainer and consultant in the hospitality and tourism sector with various companies and associations. He is passionate about nature tourism, environment and rural development, entrepreneurship, social economy, sustainability, and digital transition.
